Help people discover your places — and understand them before they go.
Outside For Us connects your parks, trails and recreation assets to a public discovery platform, then gives your organization a private operating layer for official information, Explorer verification, placard engagement, community activity and system-wide data.
Residents use OFU to discover places for free. Organizational accounts are the management and intelligence layer for land managers.

Live from the Drake Park page. Every answer shows where it came from — OpenStreetMap baseline, community verified, or a recent visitor — and anything we can't answer says Unknown.

Help more people discover your system
Turn parks, trails and recreation assets into a connected discovery experience — while preserving the practical details people need to choose where to go.

Your organizational account brings place data, accessibility coverage, Explorer activity, community engagement and placard attribution into one operating view.
Keep information moving
Official information remains attributable to you while Explorer missions and community observations help fill genuine gaps and surface changes between formal audits.
How a page gets better
Three Bend parks, three stages of verification.
Every place starts from the best information OFU has. Where that baseline cannot answer a supported question, OFU says Unknown and can turn the gap into an Explorer mission. Official land-manager answers stay attributable, community observations are reviewed, and the public page improves without pretending every source carries the same authority.
Well documented
Drake Park
Where a page ends up: a sourced baseline, answers confirmed by visitors, a record of Explorer field checks, and only the genuinely open questions left as missions.

Explorer opportunity
Pine Nursery Park
Mapped baseline covers the basics. The questions it can’t answer confidently are shown as gaps and handed to Explorers as missions — incomplete on purpose, not broken.
